HELL OR HIGH WATER (Working Title)
FEATURE • Romantic Comedy • Emerson just broke up with her girlfriend of 6 years and she’s ready to party. Alongside her forever single best friend/roommate/platonic life partner Dana, and her new-in-town manic-pixie-dream-cousin Kyle, she throws herself into a summer of fun sex and casual dating. As flood waters rise, making NYC increasingly unlivable, secrets, lies, and old hurts are uncovered, and their “hot girl summer” begins to feel more like a hot mess. • Screenplay by Allison Andresini and Gillian Holmes
(Untitled Western)
FEATURE • Action Adventure Romance • Nellie is just trying to get by raising her sisters and running the family farm, when a bet made by her drunkard father goes sideways and she’s sold as a bride to Ernesto. After a life of hijinks, swindling, and odd-jobs, Ernesto is ready to put down roots. Unfortunately, he needs a wife by his side to claim his plot of land in a new settlement out west. Nellie’s unbridled stubbornness and Ernesto’s lack of patience make the trek from Texas to California more troublesome than he anticipated. When they overhear plans for a train-robbery, a mutual agreement leads them on an action-packed adventure filled with bandits, gun fights, dance numbers, and, begrudgingly, love. • Story by Allison Andresini and Gillian Holmes
(Untitled World War II Movie)
FEATURE • War Film • A group of “Donut Dollies” find themselves on the wrong side of the front lines in France after the Normandy landings. Inglorious Basterds meets A League of Their Own. • Story by Allison Andresini
